Anderson Strathern hires corporate specialist Euan Tripp as partner
Anderson Strathern has hired corporate specialist Euan Tripp from Brodies, in a move that strengthens the firm’s corporate and commercial offering.
Mr Tripp brings extensive M&A and corporate finance experience including from the property and hotels sectors, in Scotland and across the UK.
Recognised as a “recommended individual” in the Legal 500 in 2018, he graduated from the University of Aberdeen before starting his career in law at Biggart Baillie (now DWF).
Anderson Strathern chair, Bruce Farquhar, said: “Euan is a highly rated corporate lawyer, well known for his astute and pragmatic approach, with a fantastic network across the UK and internationally. We’re really happy to have him on board as we look to further build out our corporate and commercial team. Euan’s specific expertise in the property and hotels sectors in particular is a real plus for us.”
Mr Tripp said: “Anderson Strathern is recognised as having a real focus on Scotland’s SME market and we think there is great potential to extend the firm’s reach in Scotland and across the rest of the UK. The firm has an excellent name in the market and I look forward to working alongside Bruce and the rest of the team while helping to build on the firm’s reputation in the years ahead.”
In December, the firm reported increased turnover of £22.8 million for the year to 31st August 2018 while reporting that profits were up by 10 per cent.
