Anderson Strathern team raises funds for Social Bite

A team from Anderson Strathern comprising Aileen Gilholm, Robin Turnbull, Jemma Forrest, Jamie Devlin and Sheonagh Richards, took part in a 60-mile cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh on Sunday in aid of Social Bite.
The ride kicked off at the Sir Chris Hoy velodrome in Glasgow with some warm-up exercises courtesy of Mr Motivator. The ride saw two welcome pit stops for re-fuel before finishing up at sunny Cramond Bay in Edinburgh. Riders were spoilt with free pizza, Brewgooder beer and Social Bite sweet treats.
The funds raised are going to help build two new Social Bite villages, one in Glasgow and one in London. With the help of lots of generous people, the AS Chain Gang managed to raise £4,425.
And, as one of the top ten fundraisers, the team were asked to have their photo take with Sir Chris Hoy himself.
