Andy Coulson to stand trial in Scotland next month

Andy Coulson, 47, was due to appear at the High Court in Edinburgh next week but at a preliminary hearing a judge set a new date of May 11 for the trial.

The charge pertains to the trial of politician Tommy Sheridan and his wifeGail in 2010 at the High Court in Glasgow.

The Judges Scotland twitter account said: “HMA v Andrew Edward Coulson: new trial date set for 11 May 2015 at 10am in Edinburgh High Court.”
