Ann Stewart appointed to Scottish Law Commission
Ann Stewart has been appointed to the Scottish Law Commission.
Ms Stewart, a solicitor and professional support lawyer specialising in commercial property, is a member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Property Law Committee and Property and Land Law Reform Committee.
Law Society president Sheila Webster, said: “I am delighted to learn of Ann Stewart’s appointment as commissioner of the Scottish Law Commission.
“Ann has a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience in the commercial property field. As a member of our Property Law and Property and Land Law Reform Committees, she is a generous and dedicated contributor to the work of the Law Society.
“In her role as a professional support lawyer, she plays a key role in the development of her fellow Scottish commercial property lawyers and I know that she will prove to be a valuable asset to the commission’s important law reform work.
