April sales of Perthshire property double February’s figure
Perthshire property bosses have revealed that April was a bumper month, with the number of properties sold double that of February and notably more than in April 2015.
Perthshire Solicitors Property Centre said that just over £11 million worth of homes were sold, a total of 70 properties.
The average price tag achieved by PSPC member firms is currently sitting at just over £160,000.
Anne Begg, manager, PSPC, said: “We predicted an upturn in the market at the end of the first quarter so it’s pleasing to see our predictions come true. What’s more, things are looking really promising for the weeks ahead.
“Eight homes came onto the market on Monday alone, and 43 last week. This is in stark contrast to the early days of the year, proving that Spring really is the perfect time to put your property up for sale.”
