Balfour+Manson makes flurry of promotions
Balfour+Manson has announced a number of promotions with effect from 1 April 2017.Three new partners will be assumed: Alan Gilfillan who specialises in corporate and charity law, Kirsten Knight who heads up the family team in the Aberdeen Office and Sindi Mules who specialises in public law including judicial review and human rights, appeals to superior courts, including to the Supreme Court.
Four of the firm’s associates have been promoted to senior associate: Karen Gibbons in the family law team in Edinburgh, Margaret Ross in the private client team who is also a Chartered Tax Adviser, Sarah Shiels who specialises in employment and discrimination litigation in the Employment Tribunal, the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the civil courts and Irene Turner who specialises in all aspects of residential conveyancing and property law.
Finally, two solicitors have been promoted to associate: Julia Cryan in the residential property team and Stephanie McLaren in the commercial property team.
