Balfour+Manson retain all second year trainees as solicitors
Balfour+Manson has announced that all four of its second year trainees, who are due to qualify next week, will be continuing with the firm as solicitors. This is a growing trend for the firm having retained 13 out of 16 trainees over the last four years.
Jonny Gilmour, Michaela Guthrie, Ross Forrest and Owen Wilton will work in the 12 partner strong litigation department. The team is among the largest in Scotland. The newly qualified solicitors will work for Chambers ranked partners Elaine Motion, Ann Logan, David McIntosh and Robert Holland.
Ms Motion, chairman of Balfour+Manson, said: “I am delighted that we are able to retain all 4 of our very talented trainees. As a firm we are continuing to grow and are constantly committed to developing our trainees to the best of their abilities. It’s fantastic to have them all on board.”
