Blackadders lawyer runs Paris Marathon for charity
Perth- and Dundee-based lawyer Jennifer Douglas was among 50,000 competitors who completed the 40th Paris Marathon on Sunday, 3 April, raising funds for the MS Society while doing so.
Ms Douglas - a senior solicitor at Blackadders - wanted the MS Society to benefit as she knows several people who are affected with the condition. This was her fourth successful marathon, the others having been London and Edinburgh (twice).
After completing the course in an enviable time of 3 hours 45 minutes, she said: “This was my fourth marathon and certainly my toughest to date as it was particularly hot!
“There were some great views along the way, including the Eiffel Tower which will always be very memorable. I am just delighted to have received so much support and to help raise funds for this incredible cause.”
