Blackadders team raises funds for Comic Relief

This year has been particularly difficult for all of us but especially for the poorest and most vulnerable in our society, whose lives have been made even harder by the pandemic. Comic Relief Red Nose Day takes place on Friday 19 March 2021.

Simon Allison, head of the employment team said: “Team Blackadders’ Challenge was to cover 500 miles between 8 and 25 March 2021. Employees could walk, skip or run the distance. I thought that this would be a stretch for the team. However, unbelievably, the team covered over 500 miles in the first six days. So I have suggested that we will walk another 500 miles (and possibly, in the words of The Proclaimers, we will walk 500 more).
