Blackadders wins national Business Insider award
Blackadders has won the “Best Newcomer” Award at the Scottish Business Insider SME300 Awards 2016 in Glasgow.
The awards, which are now in their tenth year, celebrate the success of Scotland’s best performing companies with turnover between £8 million and £20m. The “Best Newcomer” award is made to one of the 79 businesses that are new to the most recent SME300 listing.
Blackadders has gone through an impressive growth period in recent years, including the expansion of its footprint from Dundee to include offices in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Perth. As recently announced, Blackadders will expand into Glasgow on 1 April 2016 when it merges with Boyle Shaughnessy.
Receiving the award, Campbell Clark, head of business services at Blackadders said: “We are thrilled to receive this award. It recognises the recent success and growth of our business as we implement our strategy to transform Blackadders into a national law firm. A law firm must develop and grow if it is to be sustainable, serve its clients well, and provide the opportunities for career progression that its people deserve. This national award is something of a milestone on Blackadders’ journey.”
