Brian Inkster presents business creativity award
Inksters Solicitors sponsored the “Business Creativity” category at the 30th Annual Arts & Business Scotland Awards.
This award which was introduced and sponsored by Inksters for the first time at the 29th Annual Awards recognises a business that has taken the lead in establishing and developing partnerships with cultural organisations in order to drive and develop commercial opportunities for both parties which impact the wider community.
Check-It Scaffold Services won this year’s award by showing such initiative in sponsoring Scottish Ballet to work with David Dawson, an internationally renowned choreographer, and his team to create a new version of Swan Lake.
Check-It’s support enabled Scottish Ballet to take artistic risks and perform outside their usual audiences and the partnership developed opportunities for both organisations through ticket sales, education activity, and extensive brand exposure.
Mr Inkster who presented the award to John Austin, managing director of Check-It Scaffold Services, said: “The standard of the nominations for this year’s award was very high and I congratulate Check-It Scaffold Services for their creative approach to Arts sponsorship with Scottish Ballet. It is heartening to see businesses take the lead in developing partnerships with arts organisations.”
