Brodies’ highest earner saw pre-bonus profit share of £522,000
Brodies’ highest-earning partner took home a profit share of £522,000 in the year to April 2016, with a performance bonus yet to be applied to this figure.
The previous financial year saw the top payment boosted by 79 per cent.
The highest-earning partner in the year to April 2015 received a profit share of £477,000, which rose to £853,00 after adding a bonus.
In the year before that the highest paid partner earned £445,000, which increased to £721,000 with a 62 per cent bonus.
The total profit pool for the year 2015/16 is £30.9 million, following a 12 per cent jump in turnover.
Chairman Christine O’Neill described this as a “satisfactory outcome” and said activity in the second half of the year had been affected by “continued oversupply in the global oil and gas market” in addition to uncertainty before the Brexit vote.
