BTO Solicitors LLP has announced that it will be sponsoring black tie fundraising event the ‘Chance to Dance Ball’, which will take place on Friday 25 August at the Hilton Glasgow.

Organised by not-for-profit event management company Elite Collaboration, proceeds from the entertainment-packed evening will go to chosen beneficiaries Brightest Star, Calum’s Cabins, the Lola Commons Fund and Back Onside.

Laura Salmond, a partner in the BTO Employment Law team, is participating in the Strictly Come Dancing style event, which will see Scottish media personalities and Scottish business people being paired with a professional dancer to compete for the “Elite Glitter Ball”. Laura and her partner will be dancing the cha-cha in her attempt to take home the trophy.

Ms Salmond said: “I’m really proud to be representing BTO in what will be a night of friendly competition and great fun in order to raise funds for some very important causes. The Employment Law team is known for its dynamic approach, dedication and determination and I look forward to taking these qualities to the dance floor on Friday night.”
