Burges Salmon advises renewable energy company on investment

Burges Salmon has advised Clean Energy Cap Ltd (CEC), a private-wire renewable energy company, on an investment from True Green Capital Management LLC (TGC), a renewable energy-focused private equity firm.
An Edinburgh-based Burges Salmon corporate energy M&A team advised on the transaction, led by partner Malcolm Donald, associate Victoria MacAulay and solicitor Scott Paterson.
Mr Donald said: “It’s been a pleasure working with CEC on this strategically important and transformational deal, which will play an important part in how CEC continues to provide end-to-end and affordable renewables solutions to some of the UK’s largest power users.”
