Burness Paull offers work experience to ethnic minority law students
The Scottish Ethnic Minorities Lawyers’ Association (SEMLA) has announced a partnership with Burness Paull to offer a week of work experience to one of its student members.
The firm has offered to provide one week of work experience to a student who is currently in second or third year of the LLB degree or first year of the accelerated LLB degree. The student should be interested in commercial law and gaining a traineeship in a commercial law firm.
Interested students should send their application to Rhona Shaw on Rhona.Shaw@burnesspaull.com with the heading “SEMLA Work Experience”.
The application should state your name, university and stage of the degree and in no more than 300 words, why you are keen to gain work experience at Burness Paull. The deadline for applications is 30 April 2019.
Burness Paull is flexible with the dates and office at which the student will undertake the work experience.
SEMLA said it is “delighted to be working again with Burness Paull”, who also hosted a Spring Insight Day for SEMLA members last April.
