Burness Paull reports strong corporate deal activity
Burness Paull has recorded a successful three months, completing close to 50 corporate deals, worth more than £2.5 billion.
Among a number of private equity deals, the firm advised long-standing client BlueGem, owner of fashion brand Liberty, in a deal that saw it team up with Jack Wills founder Pete Williams in a multi-million pound buyout of the British heritage-inspired fashion chain.
Crowned “Scottish Legal Firm of the Year 2017” in the recent UK Legal 500 awards, Burness Paull also represented the buyers of Dobbies Garden Centres as well as Kings Park Capital on investments in 7 Bone Restaurants and Just Go! Holidays.
The firm also advised Chase Search & Selection Limited, a UK pharmaceutical recruitment company, on the investment by Vespa Capital.
