Catherine Dyer made CBE in Queen’s New Year’s Honours list
The first woman to be made crown agent and chief executive of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, Catherine Dyer, has been awarded a CBE for services to law and order.
Ms Dyer, an experienced solicitor and graduate of Glasgow University has held her current position since 2010.
She was the first woman to become area procurator fiscal at Glasgow between 2003 and 2008.
She said: “I owe much to my family and the hard work of all my colleagues.”
