Catriona MacLeod joins Terra Firma
Terra Firma Chambers is delighted to announce that Catriona MacLeod has joined the stable today.
Since calling to the bar in 2007, Ms MacLeod has established a general civil practice with particular interest in property, commercial law, public law and planning. She has a wealth of experience in property law and has been instructed in a wide variety of cases ranging from boundary disputes to contractual disputes.
In addition, she has experience in local government; partnership and agency; company law; unjustified enrichment; planning; professional negligence; contract (including building contract) and commercial property.
Prior to becoming an advocate Ms MacLeod worked for several years as a solicitor both in private practice and in the public sector. In the private sector she worked in commercial property, including a period of secondment to the London office of a Scottish firm. In the public sector she dealt particularly with property, roads and planning matters (including appearing at public inquiries).
Ms MacLeod is also a civil tutor in public law at the University of Edinburgh.
