Charities benefit from Gillespie Macandrew CSR programme
Gillespie Macandrew has donated a share of its profits to three children’s charities.
The Rock Trust, Children in Scotland and Rossie Young People’s Trust have been awarded £28,000 under the law firm’s CSR Programme.
Cheques to each of the charitable organisations were presented by three of the firm’s partners at its Edinburgh office in Atholl Crescent this month.
Robert Graham-Campbell, CEO of Gillespie Macandrew, said: “As a firm, we have committed to giving one percent of our pre-tax profits to worthy causes. We are delighted to have the opportunity to show our support again for our three chosen Scottish charities which do great work in support of children and young people.
“Our partners and staff feel personally committed to supporting our programme of Community Social Responsibility, and this is an important part of our culture and approach as a firm. Our teams also support these charities with their time as volunteers and through other fund-raising activities on top of our donation as a firm.
“We are proud that our chosen charities have access to our legal guidance on a day to day basis and we also provide a legal helpline for Children in Scotland. We wish them all another very good year and success in all the good work they do.”
