Charity event calendar fills up at Complete Clarity Solicitors
The charity calendar is filling up fast at Complete Clarity Solicitors.
As well as the Team Jak Foundation, which supports children and young people with cancer, the firm has now also named the Alzheimer’s Society as a new beneficiary of the events it plans to run throughout the year.
Last year Complete Clarity Solicitors and Simplicity Legal raised nearly £10,000 for Livingston-based Team Jak, as well as devoting hours of their time to act as volunteers.
This year the targets are even higher, with new challenges pencilled in for every month, including Kilt Walks and even more parachute jumps, which last year saw Billy Smith, co-founder and director, raise £1,400.
He said: “The staff at Complete Clarity Solicitors work hard throughout the year, but they still find time to devote to helping other people who find themselves facing some of life’s most unsettling challenges.
“We are privileged and delighted in 2024 to be continuing our association with Team Jak, which is named after Jak Trueman, a Lothians teenager who died in 2015 of a particularly aggressive form of cancer. It is an important and exceptionally worthwhile cause.
“The whole team is also very pleased this year to be supporting the Alzheimer’s Society, which does such vital work in the field of research and cares for people with dementia and their carers.”
