City of Edinburgh Council tendering for provision of legal services framework

The City of Edinburgh Council will shortly be tendering for its new “Provision of Legal Services Framework”.

To support the Council’s procurement strategy, it would like to alert firms to this opportunity.

The Framework spans the full range of Council legal requirements and will be broken down into 5 lots as follows:

  • Lot 1 - Commercial;
  • Lot 2 - Property & Planning;
  • Lot 3 - Litigation;
  • Lot 4 - Employment; and
  • Lot 5 - Major Projects.
  • The Council is seeking to support small and medium sized enterprises by allocating a set number of places on 4 of the 5 lots to firms with a turnover of less than £20m (Lots 1, 2 and 4) or £15m (Lot 3) per annum.

    Further information can be found in the Prior Information Notice, published on Public Contracts Scotland: http://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/search/show/search_view.aspx?ID=AUG217367.

    Any queries should be submitted to Kelly Faulds at kelly.faulds@edinburgh.gov.uk.

    Firms will have the opportunity to apply for this contract when the Contract Notice and PQQ documents are published on Public Contracts Scotland on 19 August 2015.
