Civil Online: Change of agency procedure
It has been brought to the attention of the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) that clear guidance is required in respect of procedure where there has been a change of agency, and in particular where new agents wish to use Civil Online.
If you have been instructed following a change of agency and wish to use Civil Online, then you must make a formal request in writing to the sheriff clerk confirming change of agency.
On receipt of the formal communication, the court will update representation details in the case management system which will allow solicitor access to the particular case in Civil Online.
