Clair Cranston joins Lindsays’ family law team
Lindsays has welcomed Clair Cranston as a senior associate in its family law team.
She has started the new role, which will see her work throughout Tayside and across Perthshire, today.
The Law Society of Scotland-accredited specialist in child law and family law is also a certified specialist in trauma-informed practice.
She has a special interest in child law and supports the Scottish Child Law Centre, where she is the organisation’s longest-serving volunteer legal advisor.
Mrs Cranston’s new role will see her work closely with family law partner Caroline Mackintosh, who joined Lindsays earlier this year, across the firm’s offices in Dundee and Perth.
She said: “I am delighted to have joined the team at Lindsays and excited to be getting started. This is a great opportunity for me to take the next step in my career.
“I have heard good things about the working ethos at Lindsays. I am looking forward to embracing that through the many ways in which the team here advises clients at what can often be some of the most stressful times of their lives.”
Mrs Cranston, who lives in Perthshire, has been based in Perth with Macnabs Solicitors for the past 11 years, most recently as an associate.
She advises on all aspects of family and child law, including divorce and separation, contact and residence, as well as cohabitation agreements, prenups, postnups and adoption.
Alison McKee, partner and head of family law at Lindsays, said: “I am really pleased to welcome Clair to our team, especially as our firm works with a growing number of people and families throughout Perthshire and Tayside.
“With her ability, enthusiasm and deep-rooted knowledge of the communities in which she is working, Clair will be a tremendous asset. Her addition will bring real benefits to the tailored and considered advice we share with our clients.”
