The impact of minimum unit pricing to be discussed at next month’s Licensing Conference.

The rationale and retaliation to the policy of minimum unit pricing will be considered at CLT Scotland’s Licensing Conference which will take place online on 6 June.

With the increase of the minimum unit price of alcohol in Scotland to 65p, Fran Ennis of Bellwether Green will take a timely look at what has been a highly controversial policy, considering its development and what all stakeholders need to know about its proper implementation.

Chaired by leading licensing advocate Scott Blair of Terra Firma Chambers, the conference will also include presentations from Joanna Millar of Anderson Strathern, Joanne Hennessy and Caroline Loudon from TLT LLP, West Dunbartonshire Council’s Michael McDougall and Abbie Hunter and Rachel McCourt of Pinsent Masons.
