Clyde & Co announces record number of partner promotions

Clyde & Co has promoted 16 of its lawyers to equity partner across its international network, including Edinburgh-based Toni Ashby and Bruce Goodbrand, both from the insurance sector group.

This latest investment in the firm’s expertise grows the total number of partners to more than 375. The promotions are effective from 1 May.

Growth during the year also came from the firm’s merger with Simpson & Marwick. The merger saw 45 partners join Clyde & Co and the addition of five new offices in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Leeds and Newcastle. Combining this year’s promotions and new lateral hires, the firm has added 95 partners.
