Clyde & Co makes legal director appointments in Scotland
Clyde & Co has announced the promotions of Alison Tyler and Ann Bonomy to legal directors in Edinburgh and Glasgow respectively as part of its 2021 promotions round.
Ms Tyler qualified with the firm in 2011. She is part of the firm’s catastrophic and large loss team and specialises in defending employers’ liability and public liability claims for insurer, commercial and public sector clients.
She handles high value, complex injury and fatal claims and acts for respondents in judicial review proceedings. She has significant experience in conducting litigation in the Court of Session and sheriff courts across Scotland. She headed up the firm’s CR&I Committee for Scotland for five years.
Ms Bonomy is part of the firm’s safety, health and environmental (SHE) regulatory team, having joined in 2014. She specialises in defending clients in fatal workplace health and safety prosecutions and serious and fatal road traffic prosecutions, and appears regularly in the sheriff courts. She speaks regularly on health & safety topics and is a member of the Health and Safety Lawyers Association.
