Five of the promotions in Scotland are in the firm’s insurance practice, while one, Ameeta Panesar, is in real estate. Four of the promotions come in the firm’s Edinburgh office, with the other two in Glasgow.

Across the firm’s global network, 76 lawyers have been promoted to legal director, the largest number of promotions the firm has made in a year.

The legal director promotions comes as insurance lawyer Andrew Tolmie has been promoted to partner.
