Clyde & Co to host virtual liability conference
Clyde & Co has announced a virtual liability conference to replace its annual event which ordinarily takes place in Glasgow.
On 24 June the firm hosts a live Q&A session online at 2pm with some of Clyde & Co’s Scottish legal experts. The session covers the unprecedented impact of COVID-19, challenges like the potential implementation of QOCs, tackling fraud, historic abuse claims, along with the rising volume and value of property insurance claims.
The panel, chaired by Vikki Melville – managing partner for Scotland – will take questions from the audience and provide insights into these and other challenges.
She said: “I’m delighted to chair our first ever virtual Scottish Liability Conference, and even more so when it’s such a topical and important subject to cover. With COVID-19’s impact on almost everything we do, there’s so much that insurers need to be aware of and prepared for and we’re here to address any questions they may have.”
Interested participants can register and submit questions here. Registrants can also receive video recordings of additional sessions covering these topics in more detail for them to review at their leisure.
