Clyde & Co win Scottish Law Firm of the Year 2017

Clyde & Co and Simpson & Marwick were chosen as “Scottish Law Firm of the Year 2017” at the Scott + Co Scottish Legal Awards.

This is the first time the firm has won the prize, following on from 2016’s win of The Lawyer’s “Law Firm of the Year” award.

The judges recognised the great progress the firm has made since the merger with Simpson & Marwick in 2015 and the hard work on the part of many people that has gone, and continues to go, into making that a success.

Clyde & Co fought off competition from the likes of DLA Piper, Gillespie Macandrew and last year’s winner Harper Macleod.

Clyde & Co was also recognised as highly commended in the “Litigation Team of the Year” category.

Simpson and Marwick’s property team were also delighted to have been nominated for the “Property Team of the Year” award.

Managing partner for Scotland, Gordon Keyden said: “This award is recognition of the hard work that has been done by all partners and staff since our merger in 2015. Our entire organisation should be very proud.”
