CMS announces Startup Grind sponsorship
CMS has secured sponsorship of the Scottish chapter of Startup Grind, a global initiative aimed at supporting fledgling entrepreneurs.
Startup Grind is the largest independent start-up community, actively focused on educating, inspiring, and connecting more than 3.5 million entrepreneurs in over 600 chapters across the globe.
The initiative, active in more than 125 countries, nurtures start-up ecosystems through events, media, and partnerships with like-mined organisations including Google for Startups.
Through its sponsorship, the firm is hosting a series of monthly fireside chats in its Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen offices. The next will be held at CMS’s Glasgow office on West Regent Street on 22 August where the guest speaker will be Rachael Brown, CEO Cultural Enterprise Office and convenor of Scotland CAN DO.
A further event will be held at CMS’s Edinburgh office on 28 August with guest speaker Evelyn McDonald, CEO of Scottish EDGE.
