CMS launches new ESG specialist team in Scotland

CMS has launched a new team to support Scottish-based businesses in managing the opportunities and challenges of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.
Led by Edinburgh-based partner Gordon Hay and senior associate Dr Amanda Cooke, the new Scotland ESG team draws on the depth of the firm’s resources and experience across Scotland, the rest of the UK and worldwide.
Dr Cooke said: “We are delighted to launch our Scotland ESG Team which has been set up to help clients find innovative ways to manage both the challenges and opportunities in today’s regulatory environment.
“This group provides Scottish insights and creates value for clients through knowledge sharing and the development of integrated seamless solutions to the complex legal aspects of ESG issues.
