College seeks lawyers interested in volunteering
City of Glasgow College is looking for lawyers interested in volunteering to help its law students.
Students at the college have the option to take part in the Legal Pathways Initiative, which enables them to get real practical experience alongside legal professionals.
The aim of the initiative is to support the Scottish government’s Youth Employment Strategy and create educational pathways and opportunities for our learners.
There are already a number of lawyers matched with students, including Ximena Vengoechea, Brian McConnachie QC, Scott Manson, Alan Watt, David Cobb, Melissa Rutherford, Gurpreet Singh Johal, George Gilfillan and many others.
For more information email Emma Jackson, curriculum head of legal services at the college: Emma.jackson@cityofglasgowcollege.ac.uk.
