Compass Chambers hails mooting success at Glasgow University
Two hundred and forty students from the course were involved in the competition from the outset. They were narrowed down to two teams who participated in the final, which took place on 23rd March, on the tricky subjects of negligent misrepresentation and “Melville Monument” liability. Compass member Clare Connelly judged the final where the students involved all performed very well.
The winning team this year were Katie Peoples and Andrew McGinlay who are pictured with Ms Connelly. Rachael Miller and Jade McBride were the runners up. Both teams received prizes of book tokens donated by Compass Chambers.
The stable said it would like to congratulate all of the students for their hard work and enthusiasm in reaching the final and would particularly like to congratulate Katie and Andrew on their victory.
