Date set for Goodwillie appeal

A former footballer found to be a rapist in a civil case will appeal the ruling in November.
David Goodwillie, 28, was found to have raped Denise Clair, 30, in a damages case at the Court of Session. His lawyers lodged appeal papers in February.
David Robertson, 30, was also found to have raped her and is appealing.
The pair will argue that the definition of consent applied by Lord Armstrong in the civil case was erroneous.
In a brief hearing before Lord Malcolm yesterday, the court heard the case would go ahead on 14-15 November.
