David J. Smart joins Miller Hendry’s Crieff team
Miller Hendry has underlined its commitment to Crieff with the announcement of two new faces joining the firm’s Comrie Street team.David J. Smart has taken the decision to move to Miller Hendry as an associate following the closure of Graham & Finlayson after the retiral of their senior partner Robert B.A. Bolton. Mr Smart’s colleague and experienced paralegal Liz Dawson is also making the move.
A past president and currently treasurer of the Rotary Club of Crieff, Mr Smart is well-known in the Strath capital having joined Graham & Finlayson in 1989, first as an assistant solicitor and latterly becoming a partner in 1991.
He brings his extensive expertise in domestic conveyancing to Miller Hendry clients. He handles general chamber work such as preparation of wills and powers of attorney, and is also a notary public.

Following the closure of Graham & Finlayson, all the deeds, wills and documents held by the firm will also transfer to Miller Hendry’s Crieff office.
