David Johnston QC made Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh
David Johnston QC, who serves as a Scottish law commissioner, is among 56 new Fellows of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
Mr Johnston was admitted to the Faculty of Advocates in 1992, and was regius professor of civil law at the University of Cambridge and Fellow of Christ’s College from 1993 to 1999. He has been honorary professor at the University of Edinburgh Law School since 2000. He took silk in 2005.
