Diana Mackenzie runs half marathon in aid of My Name’5 Doddie Foundation
Well done to Diana Mackenzie who ran her own version of the Edinburgh Half Marathon in Aberdeen.
Earlier this year, Diana, who is a solicitor in the Balfour and Manson Aberdeen office, set herself the challenge of running a half marathon in four of Scotland’s cities in aid of the firm’s chosen charity – the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
The foundation was launched in 2017 after Doddie Weir, one of Scottish Rugby’s most recognisable and larger-than-life personalities, revealed he was suffering from MND. My Name’5 Doddie Foundation aims to raise funds to aid research into the causes of the disease and investigate potential cures. It also makes grants to individuals suffering from the disease, to help them live as fulfilling a life as possible.
