Digby Brown announces associate promotions
Digby Brown Solicitors has announced a series of associate-level promotions in its Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen offices, a move the firm’s chief executive Fraser Oliver has described as reflecting the depth and breadth of its operation and continued expansion across Scotland.
Three of the promotions are in Digby Brown’s Edinburgh office – Bruce Langlands and Tahirah Yousaf, both part of the insurance litigation department, and Joanne Gosney, part of the clinical negligence team.
In Dundee, Craig Brown becomes an associate. Digby Brown moved to new and expanded premises in Aberdeen city centre in 2015. Neil Davidson is promoted to associate in that office.
All five have spent all or most of their legal careers with Digby Brown. Mr Langlands, Ms Yousaf and Ms Gosney joined the firm as trainees.
2015 saw Digby Brown open an office in Ayr, it’s seventh across Scotland.
Mr Oliver said: “I’m really pleased that 2016 sees five new Associates across three of our offices. Each of these individuals not only delivers for clients but provides leadership and are helping grow and develop our business externally across Scotland.
“As with previous promotions, this announcement shows our commitment to helping people develop their legal careers over a number of years with us.”
