Digby Brown runners complete £4,000 charity efforts

Digby Brown staff created a bumper weekend for charity support after taking on – and completing – two iconic challenges.

Sam Whyte, media manager in the firm’s Edinburgh office, chose to take on the gruelling hilly Loch Ness Marathon. It was the first time he had ever attempted the 26.2 miles.

Meanwhile four others from the firm’s Aberdeen and Glasgow offices stormed the half marathon and 10km routes of the Great Scottish Run.

Kirsten Smith, CSR manager at Digby Brown said: “At Digby Brown we care for today and the future – and that extends to our local communities and the local initiatives and support groups who so many people and families rely on for vital care and support services.

“We are a firm that is passionate about actively supporting vital causes and groups across Scotland through various sponsorship, volunteering and fundraising initiatives whether it’s through individual or team efforts.

“All five of our runners showed dedication in their efforts – with both the fundraising and the training – and they should be proud of all they have achieved.”
