Digby Brown Solicitors announce new Ayr office
Digby Brown has announced the opening of an office in Ayr from today.
The office will be led by partner Damian White. Making the announcement, Digby Brown chief executive Fraser Oliver highlighted that the office – the firm’s seventh across Scotland – gives it truly national coverage.
Mr White, meanwhile, stressed the firm’s commitment to clients across Ayrshire and beyond and being an active part of a vibrant local legal and business community.
The announcement is the latest in a series that highlights a strong end to the 2015 calendar year for Digby Brown.
Last week saw the firm confirmed as the only practice covering the whole of Scotland to be top ranked for personal injury (pursuer) by both Chambers andLegal 500 guides to the UK legal profession.
Mr Oliver said: “This year has seen Digby Brown continue to expand throughout Scotland, with new city centre offices in Aberdeen and now Ayr.
“With seven offices covering the country, we can deliver specialist legal advice and access to justice locally to clients nationwide.
“We are all looking forward to developing our work in Ayr. Led by Damian White, we have a great team in place who combine local knowledge and legal expertise.”
He added: “The legal marketplace is changing, most recently through the civil court reforms. What has not changed however is the need for law firms to be local and accessible.
“That is why we are investing in a new town centre location, helping to reverse the recent trend which has seen businesses move away from the high street. “
Mr White said: “We will be ideally situated to help individuals across Ayr, Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway, from Largs in the North to Stranraer in the Southwest and over to Gretna in the South.
“Our aim will be to deliver Digby Brown’s commitment to the very best in client care, achieve results and ensure access to justice when people need it most.”
“Ayr is a place that means a lot to me, it is where I started my legal career, and I am really proud to be leading a new town centre office.
“We want to be an active part of the community and I am pleased that our local team have chosen The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation as our charity of the year. “
