The society represents the interests of the Aberdeen legal profession to legal regulators, government and other bodies and also provides networking opportunities and a busy calendar of social events.
Ms Gregory said: “It is an honour to be taking on the role of president of the Society of Advocates in Aberdeen. I am really looking forward to working alongside the rest of my management committee during 2017.
“This is both an exciting and challenging time for the legal profession in Aberdeen and across Scotland. The Society of Advocates has an important role to play in helping lawyers in different fields develop, encouraging new people and talent into the sector and making sure our voice is heard during the various debates that are going on around the future shape of the legal sector.”
