Double celebration for Thorntons’ new solicitor advocate and partner Lauren Rae
A dispute resolution lawyer who began her career with Thorntons as a trainee has been promoted to partner in the firm’s Dundee office.
Working in the commercial dispute resolution and claims team, Lauren Rae acts for individual clients and on behalf of businesses on a broad range of commercial litigation work.
Ms Rae has also been sworn in as a solicitor advocate at the Court of Session, affording her extended rights of audience.

“Lauren is a prime example of this and we are delighted to promote her to Partner in the firm. Being promoted and becoming a solicitor advocate is something Lauren should be very proud of.”
Ms Rae added: “My career began as a trainee at Thorntons in 2010 before qualifying in 2012 into the dispute resolution and claims team.
