Double partner promotion at Gilson Gray
Gilson Gray has promoted two of its team to partner.
Sally Nash has been promoted within the family law team while John Fulton has been made partner within the firm’s real estate department.
Both joined Gilson Gray on the same day two years ago and their promotions reflect the continued growth and success of their respective teams.
Ms Nash has worked exclusively in the field of family law since qualifying as a solicitor in 2004.
In a recent Chambers UK Guide, she was described as “doing a quality of work that partners elsewhere can’t reach”.
She said: “I’m so proud to work for such a forward-thinking and ambitious firm.
“In addition to having a clear focus on making a real difference for our clients, it is refreshing to be part of a culture in which the development and wellbeing of staff is at the forefront.”
Ms Nash is dual-qualified in both English and Scots law and is a member of the Family Law Association.
She is also accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in family law.
Mr Fulton said: “I am delighted to part of such a driven and entrepreneurial firm that recognises, creates and promotes opportunities for its clients.
“It’s also great to be part of an organisation which places such significance on the health and wellbeing of all of its people.”
Philippa Cunniff, partner and head of family law at Gilson Gray, said: “Sally is a brilliant member of our team and this is a very well-deserved promotion.
“Our aim is to become the best family law team in Scotland and retaining top talent like Sally is vital to achieving this goal.”
Murray Stewart, partner and head of real estate at Gilson Gray, said: “John is a valued member of our team and clients really appreciate his pragmatism, straight talking and commercially focused advice.
“His promotion is fully deserved and I look forward to working with John for many years to come as both the real estate team and indeed the firm continues to go from strength to strength.”
