Double success for Macleod & MacCallum

Corra Irwin, Janis Withey, Alison Martin and Amanda MacGillivray received the award

Macleod & MacCallum, based in Inverness and Portree, won two awards last week.

The first win came at the Inverness City Centre Business Awards which took place on 14 November, with the firm winning the Professional & Business Services Award.

Organised by Inverness BID and sponsored by The Inverness Courier, these awards are voted for by the public, with over 53,000 votes being cast this year.

Managing director Peter Mason said: “It is particularly pleasing to win the Professional & Business Services Award again, having also won this Award in 2023, which is a great public acknowledgement of the efforts of all of the team at Macleod & MacCallum.”

The local win was quickly followed up the next day with a win on the national stage, with Macleod & MacCallum winning the High Street Firm of the Year Award at the Herald Law Awards of Scotland.

Alison Martin, chief executive of Macleod & MacCallum, said: “Everyone is delighted at our success – it has been a great couple of days and follows on from picking up the Property Team of the Year Award at the Scottish Legal Awards in September.  It was the 20th anniversary of the awards, and we were delighted to win such a major award at such an iconic event.”

Fiona Campbell, director, added: “To win an award voted for by members of the local Inverness public, and to follow this with winning national recognition against tough competition, is really special, and is a great recognition for the work carried out by everyone at Macleod & MacCallum in providing legal and property services to the Highlands and Islands.”
