Dundee lawyers Burns Supper tickets now available
Following the success of last year’s Burns Supper in memory of the late Billy Boyle, Dundee lawyers are organising another event next year to be sponsored by Scottish Legal News.
The Dundee Lawyers’ Boyle Memorial Burns Supper will take place in Dundee’s historic Burns Club on Saturday 18th January at 7.30pm – the event is open to Dundee lawyers and friends with tickets priced at £30.
George Donnelly, the past president of Dundee Bar Association, will propose a toast to ‘Dundee Lawyers Past and Present’; the evening will be chaired by John Muir and entertainers will include singer Findlay Peters, a baritone from the Royal Scottish Conservatoire.
SLN managing editor Graham Ogilvy said: “We had a great evening in January and the ambience of the 124 year-old Burns Club in Union Street helped make it a special night. We’re pleased to sponsor this event which, I hope, will become an annual Burns Supper open to all Dundee lawyers.”
Tickets can be obtained from John Clancy at MML (jclancy@mmllaw.co.uk) or John Boyle (jboyle@wgboyle.co.uk) or Graham Ogilvy (g.ogilvy@scottishnews.com).
