The partner at Wright, Johnson & Mackenzie (WJM) was part of the first group to take on the course, which is only available to “leaders and managerial members” of the Law Society of Scotland.

Ms Marshall said she was proud to bring new insight to the wider WJM team.

She said: “Understanding the principles of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion is a non-negotiable for those of us who look after teams that come from entirely different perspectives on life and identity.

“This course was a small way for me to make sure that WJM as a firm are doing what we can to foster diverse teams and play our part in making sure the legal sector is as inclusive as can be in Scotland.”
