DWF appoints head of casualty and general insurance in Scotland
DWF has appointed the former managing partner ofAnderson Strathern, Andrew Lothian, as the firm’s head of casualty and general insurance in Scotland, where he will work with DWF’s large national client base of insurers and public sector bodies.
Mr Lothian brings over 18 years’ experience in insurance litigation and for the last ten years served as Anderson Strathern’s head of insurance litigation, advising insurers, self-insured corporates and public bodies in disease, motor and catastrophic injury cases.
He also has extensive experience in fatal accident inquiries, fraud, credit hire, policy coverage disputes and health and safety prosecutions.
Also formerly Anderson Strathern’s head of public sector, Andrew brings experience in working with public bodies, including advising the Scottish and UK governments and the Scottish Prison Service.
Mr Lothian will be based in DWF’s Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.
