DWF completes Caledonian Sleeper and ScotRail franchises for Transport Scotland
The Scottish construction, infrastructure and projects team at DWF has advised Transport Scotland on the successful mobilisation of the Caledonian Sleeper and ScotRail franchises.
The team, led by Martin Gallaher, advised Transport Scotland on all aspects of procurement and contractulisation for the new £6.5 billion ScotRail franchise and the £375 million Caledonian Sleeper franchise.
Mr Gallaher, construction, infrastructure and projects partner at DWF, said: “It’s great to see the implementation of the new ScotRail and Sleeper franchises. These projects are of national significance and will transform rail connectivity in Scotland.”
Suzanne Moir who leads DWF’s construction, infrastructure and projects team in Scotland said: “We have a great team in place with first-rate transport sector experience which has been, further strengthened by recent lateral hires and the promotion of Isobel Reid (contentious and non-contentious construction) to senior associate.
“These appointments not only strengthen our rail offering but add key capabilities across our construction, infrastructure and projects practice.”
Lateral hires including Andrew Herring (rail, transport), Moray Thomson (planning) and Ben Powell (project finance) recently joined DWF coming from partner roles at Eversheds, MacRoberts and Tods Murray, respectively.
