DWF nominated in two Law Awards categories
Law firm DWF has been nominated in two categories at this year’s Law Awards of Scotland ahead of the awards ceremony in Glasgow this September.
The firm has been shortlisted for the “Corporate Social Responsibility” (CSR) and “Trainee of the Year” accolades, which DWF says recognises its delivery of “innovative initiatives that support education and employability”.
The judges highlighted CSR programmes such as 5 STAR Futures, which focusses on working with aspirational young people from low-income backgrounds.
Tyrone Jones, director of corporate social responsibility and engagement at DWF , said: “We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for the CSR accolade at this year’s Law Awards of Scotland.
“Ensuring corporate social responsibility excellence is embedded within our culture is key to driving our business forward in a profitable, responsible and sustainable manner.”
Meanwhile, Scott Greaves has been shortlisted as Trainee of the Year for his positive contribution to DWF through proficient legal service delivery and an active role in key CSR and graduate recruitment activity.
Kate Hasluck, emerging talent manager at DWF, said: “Scott is an exceptional trainee who goes the extra mile – effectively supporting the real estate team, the firm’s CSR approach and key business development activity.
“He’s also brought innovative solutions that will help future trainees in his seat to ensure consistency and a smooth transition - adding real value to the team.”
