Edinburgh law conference pays tribute to Dr David Nichols on retirement

Faculty at Edinburgh Law School paid tribute to their colleague Dr David Nichols on his retirement at a special conference marking the occasion.
Professor David Fox organised the conference to mark Dr Nichols’ retirement from teaching after a career spanning more than four decades.
Speakers at the conference included Professor Kenneth Reid, Dr Daniel Carr, Dr Gillian Black, Professor Alexandra Braun, Patrick Follan and Dr Hamish Patrick.
The Scottish Law Commission (SLC), which worked with Dr Nichols on “a wide range of projects, including major ones on trusts and succession”, wished him a happy retirement on Twitter.
